Weight Class 0 - Lace

Typically a fingering, size 10 or smaller crochet thread used to make lace
Size 000-1 Knitting Needles or Steel Crochet Hook size 6 or smaller is used. Sometimes the lace is crocheted loose and looping so a regular hook is required, generally a size B-1.
The average knitting gauge is 33-40 sts in stockinette or 32-42 in double crochet
