Shipping Policy & Fees

If you have placed an order and do not receive an order confirmation email almost immediately please check you spam or junk mail folder.

We make every attempt to ship your order as soon as possible. Right now orders are taking about 2 business days to ship.

If your order is detained it is generally a dye lot issue. I do not like to mess with mixed dye lots so I will not expect you to. I would rather hold your order a day or 2 than to have you fight with mixed dye lots.

Choose which shipping method works for you.

Standard Shipping - applies to orders shipped within the 48 contiguous states only. We ship UPS or USPS depending on shipping cost. For large orders UPS is cheaper. For orders that qualify for the $4.50 Standard Shipping we use the Postal Service.

If you request us to use USPS and the cost is substantially more you will be charged the difference.

If your billing address is a P.O. Box you need to provide that in the billing information. Your physical address goes in the shipping information. If the UPS charge to ship your order is to much and we choose to ship your order USPS we will use the P.O. Box or billing address.  We will only use your physical address if we are shipping UPS.

Your address and personal information are never shared. I do not sell, trade or make my customers information available to anyone!!! For more on this please see our company policy page.

2nd Day Air (or) APO, AK, HI, Canada & PR - If this shipping method applies to you and you do not select the correct shipping method it will hold your order up. Once I find out the actually shipping cost I will gladly adjust your shipping. For the sake of saving time though please select the correct shipping method. I can always do a refund. I can not charge extra to your card without permission though. Since we have such a vast variety of products judging the shipping was very difficult. So, I had to calculate for the heaviest shipment per dollar amount. My shopping cart does not allow flat rate for one service and calculated for another. So, this is the best solution I could come up with at this time.

Unfortunately I can not make any exceptions to these rules. In the past we have tried to make exceptions and we have ended up paying more in the end with time and/or with money to replace orders that were not insured. If you would like to check or calculate your shipping yourself as well I use the www.USPS.com web site to calculate the shipping cost.

International Shipping - We are now offering international shipping to Australia, New Zealand and the UK. If you live in another country and would like to place an order please email me your shopping list and I will send you a PayPal invoice to pay. If you do not live in one of the 3 countries mentioned your order must be processed through PayPal.

All international orders must ship USPS Priority Mail International. This method is a bit more expensive, but it is insured so the shipment can be replaced if it is lost in shipping. The shipping rates quoted in the shopping cart and below are just estimates. If you are purchasing small items such as pattern books or knitting needles the cost will not be that high. I had to set the rates for yarn purchases though and I will gladly adjust the shipping. NOTHING is charged to your card until I process your order and calculate your actual shipping. So your shipping rate will be adjusted to the correct rate. I can always charge you less, but I can not charge you more without your permission so I had to set the rates for the heaviest and largest orders.

If you would prefer your order to have the actual shipping charge quoted then please email me your shopping list. I will gladly work up a PayPal invoice for you to pay with the actual shipping that you will be charged.

We reserve the right to refuse to ship any international order at any time. If your order is refused you will be notified by the email address you provided.

Combined shipping - If you are making a purchase from our regular online store and our eBay store we will gladly combine the shipping for you. We have all eBay items set up on the shipping calculator at eBay. Your shipping there will be figured automatically. We have to ask that you pay the shipping requested there. The Standard shipping rate does not apply to eBay store purchases. Since most of the items we have listed at our eBay store are priced to move we can not pick up the shipping difference on those items.
