Flour Sack Towels
These towels are reminiscent of a time when flour was purchased in sacks weighing 50 or 100 lbs. When the flour sack was empty it would be laundered, bleached, cut and hemmed, then put to household use. They were commonly used as kitchen towels, cleaning and polishing cloths, diapers, underwear, sheets, and pillowcases.  

130 Thread Count

 Our flour sacks are 100% cotton, pre-washed, resistant to unraveling, highly absorbent, lint-free, and get softer with every use. All the nubs and imperfections are characteristics of this fine towel. Culinary uses include dehydrating, poaching, sauce straining, cheese making, bread proofing, and keeping salads fresh. Crafters love them for embroidery, appliqué, stamping and many other craft projects. Perfect for embroidering those days-of-the-week designs reminding us of our domestic duties!
